How Design Works With Us
Most homeowners dread the design phase of a remodel, because it usually means guesswork, decision fatigue, and a pile of orders to chase. We run it the other way. We plan the layout, lay out your options, and show you the space before any demolition starts, so you sign off on a result you can actually see. From there we source the materials and manage every order, and the only part left on your plate is choosing what you love.
No two projects or budgets are the same, so we offer three ways to handle design, from fully hands-off to bringing your own designer. Whichever fits, you make the selections and we carry the weight of pulling it together.
Design and Materials, Handled For You
This is how most of our projects run, and there is no separate design fee. We design the space and source every material, working through trusted local design partners including ProSource, who produce a full rendering so you see the layout and finishes before anyone picks up a tool. You review it, tell us what to adjust, and approve a plan you can actually see. We handle the ordering, the deliveries, and the scheduling from there.
It is the simplest path, and the one that keeps your project moving, which is why most clients choose it.
Where You Make Your Selections
Part of making design easy is knowing where to go. We work with trusted local design partners, including ProSource, where you can see cabinets, flooring, tile, and more in person. Many selections we can also bring right to your estimate, so if you spot specific finishes on our website you would like to view, just let us know and we will have them on hand.
Countertops we handle ourselves. We carry Cambria quartz, Sonno quartz, and Optimum porcelain, along with natural and exotic stone sourced through UMI. For a dramatic focal point, we can even do backlit surfaces. You choose the look, and we handle the rest.
For plumbing, lighting, and appliances, we set up a meeting for you with our sales representative at Ferguson Home in Winter Park. You can see a lot in their showroom, and their online catalog holds far more, so your options are wide open. You choose what you love, and we handle the ordering and installation from there.
Bring In a Dedicated Designer
Some projects call for a fully custom design and a designer dedicated to it from start to finish. When that is the right fit, we set it up and coordinate directly with the designer so the vision and the build stay in step. You get a bespoke result, and we make sure every detail on paper is something we can deliver in the field. A number of the projects in our gallery were designed this way.
Want to Supply Your Own Selections?
Some clients prefer to supply their own selections. We are glad to install what you bring and give it the same care as everything we build. Since the products are coming from you, the warranties and any backorders stay with you and your supplier. We are always happy to talk through your selections so you feel good about them before we start.
