Countertops That Anchor the Room

Your countertops do more than top a cabinet. They set the tone of the kitchen or bath and tie every other finish together. We help you choose the right surface for how you live and what you want to spend, from durable everyday quartz to rare natural stone, then our fabricator handles templating, fabrication, and installation. Below are the materials we work with.

Sonno Quartz

A great-value quartz for everyday living. Sonno is an engineered quartz that gives you a hard, nonporous surface that resists scratches and stains and needs very little upkeep, no sealing, just routine cleaning. It is a smart way to get the durable, clean look of quartz without stepping up to the premium lines, and it is backed by a 15-year warranty. We sell Sonno through our fabricator and help you choose the right color for your space.

Cambria Quartz

Premium quartz, made in America. Cambria is a family-owned, American-made engineered quartz known for its deep design range and some of the most realistic natural-stone looks in the category. Like all quartz it is hard, nonporous, and low maintenance, no sealing, just routine cleaning, and it is backed by a transferable lifetime warranty. It is the step up for clients who want a premium surface and the peace of mind that comes with it. We sell Cambria directly and help you choose from their full palette.

Natural and Exotic Stone

When you want something one of a kind, we source natural and exotic stone through UMI, one of the largest stone distributors in the Southeast, with a showroom right here in Orlando. Their selection runs from marble, quartzite, and granite to rare, exotic slabs you will not find in a sample box, because every slab is unique. This is the lane for a true statement piece.

Because no two slabs are alike, natural stone is chosen in person. Many of these stones can be viewed locally, though some of the more exotic slabs are sourced from other locations. UMI sells only through a fabricator or contractor, not directly to homeowners, so rather than going on your own, let us set up a visit with our sales representative. You see the actual slabs, you get expert guidance, and the ordering runs through us from there.

Backlit Surfaces

For a dramatic focal point, select surfaces can be backlit. With light placed behind a translucent slab, the surface glows, turning an island, bar, or feature wall into the centerpiece of the room. The effect only works with materials translucent enough to let light through, so it is limited to certain designs. In quartz, Cambria offers a handful of backlit-ready designs. In natural stone, translucent options like onyx and Cristallo quartzite can glow beautifully, and for the rarest look, UMI's Precioustone, semi-precious stone such as agate and amethyst, is made for it.

Translucent stone shows up throughout UMI's site across different collections, not just one page. If you see something you love anywhere, send us a picture and we will track it down and tell you whether it can be backlit.

Not Sure Which Surface Fits

Quartz, natural stone, or something rare and one of a kind, we will help you weigh the options against your space, your style, and your budget, then handle the rest. Reach out and let's talk through it.
