Residential Remodeler

Collins Kitchen and Bath is a veteran-owned, Florida State Certified Building Contractor based in Apopka. We remodel kitchens, bathrooms, whole homes, and outdoor spaces for homeowners across Central Florida. We are hiring a full-time remodeler for our in-house crew.

We are looking for an experienced remodeler who can run the work right. Someone comfortable with layouts and framing, who can read a set of plans and coordinate with the client and the trades to make sure everything lands where it belongs. We do not cut corners and we stand behind our workmanship. If that is how you work, this is a good fit.

What you'll be doing

Layout and framing from a set of plans. Demo, drywall, painting, tile prep, and finish work. Cabinet, vanity, mirror, fixture, and hardware installation. Coordinating with the client, plumber, electrician, and HVAC to confirm fixtures and rough-ins are in the proper locations before work is closed in. Light plumbing and electrical as needed, depending on experience. Keeping your jobsite clean and organized. Communicating with the team and helping each job move forward.

What we're looking for

At least 5 years of remodeling experience. Comfortable with layouts and framing. Able to read a set of plans and work off them. Able to coordinate with clients and trades to keep fixtures and rough-ins in the right place. Able to take a bathroom or kitchen from start to finish. On time, every day, ready to work. Reliable transportation and your own hand tools. Respectful to clients and team members.

Compensation

Full-time, 40 hours per week. $18.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on experience.
