Primary Bathroom Remodel | Orlando, FL

This Gatlin Woods primary bathroom remodel in Orlando focused on creating a space that feels open, balanced, and intentionally designed around how the homeowners actually use it. While the layout had a solid foundation, the finishes and functionality needed to be brought up to the level of the rest of the home.

The centerpiece of this project is the nearly twelve foot custom vanity. This was not a standard cabinet run. We built it as part of a full cabinet package and then modified multiple pieces, using refrigerator panels and custom trim details to create a built-in tower that breaks up the length and adds both storage and display space. It gives the vanity wall a furniture feel instead of looking like a long run of boxes, while still delivering a large amount of usable storage.

The countertops carry a clean, light look with subtle movement that works seamlessly with the cabinetry and wall color. Paired with rectangular undermount sinks, brushed nickel fixtures, and simple framed mirrors, the entire wall feels consistent and intentional without being overdesigned. The lighting above each mirror adds symmetry and keeps the space bright and functional.

The existing tub was already in place, so instead of replacing it, we focused on updating the surrounding finishes to bring it into the new design. The tub deck was reworked with a clean tile surround that ties into the rest of the bathroom, allowing it to feel like a natural part of the remodel rather than something left behind.

One of the biggest improvements in this Orlando bathroom remodel was the shower expansion. The shower was enlarged to create a more comfortable and usable space, then finished with classic white wall tile and a hex marble mosaic floor that adds texture without overwhelming the design. A frameless glass enclosure keeps everything open and allows the materials to stand out, while the brushed nickel shower system ties in with the rest of the fixtures throughout the space.

The end result is a primary bathroom that feels significantly more functional, more refined, and better aligned with the home as a whole. It is a clean, well-executed transformation that prioritizes both everyday use and long-term durability.
