Primary Bathroom Remodel | Winter Garden, FL

This Winter Garden primary bathroom was the first of three projects we completed for the same Westfield Lakes client, and it set the tone for everything that followed. The design choices here pull in architectural details that echo other areas of the house and create a bathroom that feels like it was always meant to look this way.

The garden tub was removed and replaced with a freestanding soaking tub positioned as the clear centerpiece of the room. Behind it, we custom framed a full arched niche that mirrors arched details found elsewhere in the home. The arch frames the tub perfectly and gives the space a built-in architectural quality that most bathrooms simply do not have. A floor-mount brushed gold freestanding tub filler with a telephone-style handshower sits beside the tub, and the warm gold tone carries throughout every fixture in the room.

The vanities are rift cut white oak with flat panel doors and matte black hardware, a warm natural wood tone that grounds the space without competing with the white walls and bright tile. The countertops are white quartz with undermount sinks, and brushed gold faucets complete each vanity station. Where medicine cabinets once were, the openings were drywalled in and finished with a subtle recessed niche detail, clean and intentional without drawing attention to itself.

Arched mirrors hang above each vanity, consistent with the arch theme carried through the room. Wall sconces flank each mirror, providing warm light at the perfect height on either side.

The shower is fully enclosed in frameless glass and tiled in a 4x4 format wall tile in a warm neutral tone with a natural stone texture. A large format floor mosaic in an earthy multi-tone pattern adds visual interest at the floor level and ties the warm tones of the oak vanities and gold fixtures together. A brushed gold rain head and handheld wand complete the shower.

The result is a bathroom that feels cohesive, carefully considered, and connected to the home around it.
