Powder Bath Remodel | Winter Park, FL

This Winter Park powder bath is one of the most design-forward spaces we have ever been part of building. Every single decision in this room was intentional, and the result is a bathroom that feels more like an experience than a utility space.

The centerpiece is a floating red marble vanity with a fully integrated sink carved from the same stone. The veining runs pink, gray, and white across the entire surface in dramatic sweeping patterns that make every inch of it feel like a one-of-a-kind piece. A brushed gold faucet sits directly on the stone, and the scale and presence of the vanity commands the entire room.

Behind the vanity, a zellige tile backsplash in warm bronze and earth tones runs the full width of the wall in a staggered vertical pattern. The handmade quality of the zellige gives the surface a subtle texture and variation that pairs perfectly with the organic movement of the marble. Above it, a custom backlit asymmetrical mirror wraps the corner and floods the space with warm ambient light.

A single ceiling fixture with multiple alabaster pendants hanging from gold chain hardware casts a soft glow that plays off the walls and the mirror. The walls themselves were finished with a custom antiquing technique that gives them a brushed bronze appearance that shifts and changes as you move through the space.

An amber glass block wall divides the vanity area from the toilet, providing privacy while allowing light to filter through and adds another layer of warmth and texture to an already rich space.

The floor is a custom pattern of 4-inch square marble tiles in eight different colors, laid in a specific repeating arrangement that ties together all the warm tones throughout the room. No two corners of this bathroom look exactly the same, and that is entirely the point.
