Double Vanity Bathroom Remodel Orlando, FL

This primary bathroom remodel in Orlando's Greenbriar neighborhood started with something we did not expect to find.

During demolition we pulled the toe kick off the old vanity and discovered a live 220-volt wire sitting inches from the shower. The previous contractor had removed a steam shower system at some point due to an improper installation and left the wire live and abandoned inside the cabinet. The homeowner knew the steam system had been removed but had no idea the wire was still hot. One flood and that bathroom becomes a fatal situation. We had it addressed before anything else.

The original layout was an L-shaped footprint built around a steam shower that no longer functioned. A closet occupied space the bathroom needed. We removed the closet entirely, squared the room into a rectangle, and relocated the toilet into the reclaimed space, giving the entire room room to breathe for the first time.

From there every surface was rebuilt. New large-format marble-look porcelain tile floors run throughout the space. A custom L-shaped double vanity with quartz countertops and white inset cabinetry wraps two walls and gives each person their own sink and storage. A neo-angle frameless glass shower replaced the old steam unit, finished with marble-look tile walls, a recessed hexagon mosaic niche, hexagon mosaic shower floor, and a rain head plus handheld shower system in brushed nickel. Updated lighting and fresh paint complete the space.

The result is a bright, open, properly built primary bathroom that works the way it should, and is safe to use.
