Guest Bathroom Remodel | Winter Garden, FL

This guest bathroom remodel at the same Westfield Lakes home where we completed the primary and pool bath gave us the opportunity to rethink the entire layout. The original tub was removed and the space was converted into a full walk-in shower, but getting the shower to the right size required moving the toilet with an offset flange to reclaim every inch of available room.

The shower walls are tiled in white 12x24 subway tile on three sides. The back wall behind the window features gray glass tile in a basketweave pattern, a subtle but intentional detail that adds texture and serves as a natural focal point within the shower. The enclosure is frameless glass with brushed gold hardware throughout.

The vanity was downsized slightly to complement the new layout, a warm wood-stained cabinet topped with white quartz and an undermount sink, with brushed gold fixtures that carry the hardware finish from the shower through to the vanity.

Where the medicine cabinet once was, we drywalled in the opening, textured it to match the surrounding walls, and custom built a set of open shelves stained to match the vanity cabinet exactly. It is a detail that could have easily been overlooked and instead it became one of the best features in the room.
